English and Foreign languages University is one of the most reputed institutes to study English and Foreign

EFL Admission 2011 at Hyderabad, Lucknow and Shillong campuses

The English and Foreign languages University better known as EFL, Hyderabad has opened Admsissions foe the session 2011-2012. For the EFL university campuses at Hyderabad, Lucknow and Shillong a common all India Entrance test will be conducted for selecting students for EFL Graduation, Post Graduation and Doctorate courses.

Courses offered at EFL

Foreign languages programmes at EFL are BA(hons) English, Arabic, French,french, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. Other courses at EFL are 
TESL, Media & Communication, Cultural Studies, MCJ, 2year MA in Arabic, Spanish, PG DTE/A M.Phil and Ph.D. 

English courses at EFL Hyderabad

BA(hons)in English.
MA in Englsih, Linguistics, English Literature, communicative English,
Ph.D and M.Phil.

How to apply for Admission at EFL

EFL has invited application for programmes for the acdemic year 2011-2012 for the EFL campuses in Hyderabad, Lucknow and Shillong. 

The application for Admission at EFL is available and can bedownloaded from the official website of the university www.efluniversity.ac.in. Or candidates interested to get the application at the publication unit of EFL by paying Rs 500/.

Selection procedure at EFL, Hederabad and other campuses

The selection of students will be done on the basis of an all India level entrance test of EFL at 20 centres across India. For research programmes and Foreign languages courses at EFL selected candidates have to appear for an interview.

Important dates related to Admssion at EFL

Application form will be issued starting from 18th April, 2011.
Last date of issueing application by post is May 3 2011(candidates can collect application form personally till 9th May )
Last date of receiving application 9th May,2011.
Entrance test date for EFL is 27 to 29th May,2011.

Note: English language proficiency test at EFL(EPT) will be conducted at the test centres at 29th May,2011. For details, interestedcandidates may contact All India English Language testing Authority by mail at aielta@efluniversity.ac.in.
