MBA Admission Notification in Vidyasagar University 2011-13

Department of Commerce with Farm Management, Vidyasagar University, Midnapore, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into UGC & AICTE-approved 2-year regular MBA  course,offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-13. How to apply

Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the University cash counter against the payment of Rs 200. One can also download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.vidyasagar.ac.in/. However, in that case, one must pay the application fee Rs 250 in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Vidyasagar University” on any Bank payable at Midnapore. The duly filled in application forms should be submitted latest by August 5, 2011. Three new courses introduced by IGNOU

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) introduces three new courses for medical, nursing and teaching personnels On Wednesday i.e. on July 27, 2011. The announcement regarding the launch of the courses was made by a University official.

 

As per the IGNOU Official, the University has introduced two certificate courses and one diploma programme, which will be offered through distance education mode. He said that the first certificate course is for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives. The course aims to provide quality care to patients undergoing treatment under ayurvedic system of medicine.

 

The official mentioned that the Adolescent Health and Counselling course will train the teachers and parents to help adolescents to develop a healthy lifestyle and handle stress. Also, the Official added that it will help teachers and parents to reinforce their knowledge in understanding needs and apprehensions of adolescents, build knowledge on physical, cognitive, emotional and psychological changes.

 

Furthermore, the newly launched diploma programme in Critical Care Nursing will make sure that seriously ill patients are looked after by nurses who have advanced nursing care knowledge and skills.

IIBS has signed MoU with Mysore University

Mysore University

The International Institute of Business Studies (IIBS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Mysore in order to offer its MBA course from the session 2011-12.

 

The programme will be offered at IIBS’ Bangalore campus. The programme duration is two-year course and will be supplemented with overall skill development through IIBS’ Finishing School. In addition, to enable global exposure, students will have the opportunity to participate in an international seminar in an overseas university.

 

Sources have informed that while announcing the MOU, Dr. Jay Prakash, Chairman IIBS, said that they are extremely pleased to have signed an MOU with University of Mysore for the MBA course. He added that students would be very much benefited, as this University has given birth to great scholars and well known personalities in various fields.
