Punjab Engineering College University of Technology was initially considered as a deemed university. After 2004, it came under Punjab University, Chandigarh. It offeres various educational courses at UG and PG levels.

Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh is one of the finest institute of the country. About Four hundred students are admitted yearly in the University. Admissions will be made on the basis of AIEEE, All India Engineering Entrance Examination.

Eligibility:

Students must have passed 12th or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics and in any one of the following subjects which are: Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology and Engineering Drawing. Also student must have appear in AIEEE and have to secure a rank in AIEEE to get into the College.


About 50% seats are reserved for Chandigarh students who have passed 12th or equivalent Chandigarh Schools.
