Department of Commerce with Farm Management, Vidyasagar University, Midnapore, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into UGC & AICTE-approved 2-year regular MBA course,offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-13. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s score obtained in CAT/MAT or in the Own test conducted by the University.
Date of Exam
- The Own Test will be conducted on August 8, 2011 (Monday)
- The Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted on August 9, 2011.
- Date for GD and PI (JEMAT candidates exempted) on the campus is August 8, 2011 at 12.00 Noon.
Note: Invitation for participation in GD and PI is open to all eligible applicants with valid Test Score. There may not be any separate formal invitation for the same.

How to apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the University cash counter against the payment of Rs 200. One can also download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.vidyasagar.ac.in/. However, in that case, one must pay the application fee Rs 250 in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Vidyasagar University” on any Bank payable at Midnapore. The duly filled in application forms should be submitted latest by August 5, 2011. For more details regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedures candidates are requested to visit the University’s aforesaid official website.
